Thanks to Alexander Dumas, the image of the royal musketeer became shrouded in a romantic fleur of chivalry, valor, courage and incredible gallantry. Surely the boys who read his novels about the incredible adventures of D’Artagnan and his three mushketer comrades dream of becoming largely similar to them.

Musketeer costume for a boy: step -by -step instructions
To make a cloak to a musketeer costume, you need to get:
- a fabric cut of blue color. Decide how long your cape should be, and already from this, take off how much matter you need. Take two lengths you need (for the back and front) and add a couple more centimeters to the bag - this is provided that the width of the fabric will be 150 cm. If the fabric is narrower, then you will have to buy it a little more to be enough for Sleeves cutting. Any fabric is suitable, the main condition is that it is not transparent or too thick, and it is also desirable that it does not crumble too much;
- white silk or satin (50 cm) and lace (2.5 m) - they will go to the collar and cuffs;
- brocade casting silver, or light silk (you need a cut of 50x50cm) - crosses will be made of them;
- braid or satin felus - They will go to the finish of the cloak.
- well, of course, you will need the sewing needle and the threads suitable in color.
We sew a cloak:
The selected fabric must be folded in half and cut according to the scheme below. Then the elements of the cape are connected together, and the edges are processed (see drawing).
- The main part of the cape is ready, it was the turn of its decoration. Take the brocade or silk, and with the help of a pre -prepared template, cut the crosses (4 pcs.).
- They are sewn on the back, front and sleeves of the cape. On the sleeves you can place a slightly reduced version of the crosses.
- Royal lilies, no doubt, decorate the Musketer cloak, but without them, in a more simplified version, he will be magnificent.
We sew a collar:
- Decide how you want to make a collar - sewn to the cloak or removable.
- In any case, you need to cut out two round elements (see drawing), since the collar will be two -layer.
- Both layers (upper and lower) are connected together, while lace trim is sewn. If you decide that the collar will be removable, it must be equipped with ties.
We sew removable cuffs:
- The main element of the costume - the Musketer cloak - is ready. A white shirt is usually put under the bottom of the cloak, to which removable cuffs come.
- It is very simple to sew them: cut the rectangles (2 pcs.), Sew the sidewalls, turn the upper part and put an elastic band into it, and decorate the lower part with lace.
Creating a hat for a mushketer costume
Remember, in which hats were the musketeers flaunted? With some special chic, they wore hats with wide fields, flat top and luxurious feathers. Such "beauty" can be easily made from ordinary cardboard.
To make a hat to a musketeer costume, you need to get:
- dense cardboard;
- glue;
- scissors;
- wire;
- corrugated paper or lush matte tinsel - a feather will be made from this material;
- decorative braid or satin ribbon (1 m) - this will be decorated with the edges of the hat;
- acrylic paints.
How to make a hat for a musketeer:
- On dense cardboard, you must first draw, and then cut out all the elements of the hat.
- The fields will have to be “mutilated” a little with a cut, and then glue it to give the hat a small bevel.
- Tula also needs to be cut a little so that it is easy to glue.
- To assemble Tulia, and then put it on the base.
- Glue all hat components.
- In case the cardboard was not used colored, then the ham of hat will need to be painted with acrylic paint. The edges of the headgear with glue decorate with tape or braid.
- To give your musketeer a dull look, you will need to bend the hat fields up, fixing with the agraf (brooch), but a simple pin is also suitable.
- Next, our hat needs to be decorated with lush feathers. For their manufacture, corrugated paper, chopped as a long fringe and wrapped at the base with a small wire, is perfect.
- So that the ends of the "fringe" do not spin, they must be glued. In order for the “plumage” to hold on to the headdress firmly, you need to sew it tightly to the hat.
- Glue in this case is better not to use, since with active movement “feathers” can fall off. Instead of corrugated paper, you can use matte tinsel.
How to make a sword to a musketeer costume?
- A regular newspaper is suitable for the manufacture of this accessory. Such a “weapon” will be safe, but at the same time beautiful.
- Before sitting down for the manufacture of this “stitching weapon”, get out glue or tape, cardboard, scissors, paints or felt -tip pens.
- The newspaper sheet needs to be folded with a thin tube. It is best to wind it on something thin, in the form of a knitting needle. Just do not forget to extract this item then so that the child does not prick them.
- The outer newspaper corner must be fixed with glue or tape.
- Twist one end in the form of a pen, fixing it with a piece of tape.
- Draw a circle on a cardboard piece, cut it, and make a small hole in the middle - this will be a handle’s handle, which must also be painted.
- Insert a sword from the newspaper into a opening cut on a circle. So that the Ephesus does not slip down, wrap the sword under it with colored tape or glue it well with thick paper. Color the whole sword well so that no one even guesses that it is made from an ordinary newspaper.
Bottofors for the costume of a musketeer for a boy
In the form of real boots, textile leggings will look paired with black Czechs.
To make the boots chic, you will need to get:
- dense black fabric (50 cm);
- scissors, threads, sewing needle;
- elastic elastic band;
- materials for decor (you can use any tinsel that you like). Choose parts of future boots, go, place them on the lapels. Place the decor elements. If the “boots” do not hold on the leg, as it should be, then the lower end of the bell should be equipped with an elastic band.
A mustache and a dandy beard - this is what your boy needs to complete the image of a musketeer. Remember what your favorite movie-magicians look like, and use the image of the musketeer that you will like most.
