In New Year's days, matinees begin in kindergartens. Before the holidays, the family budget is cracking at the seams and buying a New Year's costume is not one of the important acquisitions, or there was no desired size for the baby, and two days later a holiday - what to do?

New Year's costume can be sewn in a matter of hours yourself! The simplest and most festive costume is a “bunny” for a boy. The main criterion of the New Year's costume for the child is lightness. After all, in the matinee, the bunny will jump, dance, run, spin. In a suit of warm material, he will be hot. Therefore, do not sew a costume made of artificial fur or warm fabric.

DIY bunny costume for a boy: phased creation of all elements

• One of the main accessories in a bunny costume is a hat with ears. We take a cut of velor in a width of 150 cm and a length of 50 cm, a small piece of crepe-satin for ears with sizes of 32x25 cm.
• Be sure to make a pattern of ears. What will be the shape and length depends on your imagination.

Approximate parameters of the ears:

• height - 30 cm;
• the width of the bottom of the part is 6 cm;
• the widest part is -10 cm.

Put the allowances on the seams 1 cm.

Cut:

• 2 details of the ears (take any soft tissues that are in the house and will imitate the ears of the bunny);
• twice as much from non -woven or understudy for compaction.

Having folded each element to each other - we stitch. We leave the hole from below.

We turn it out, correct the seams well and smoothes it with a slightly hot iron. We fold the ears in half and accept the white thread from below.

We create a pattern for a hat:

• We measure a flexible meter of the child’s head (OG) with a flexible meter - 50 cm
• On paper we build a segment AB \u003d (OG +1) /4 \u003d (50 +1) /4 \u003d 12.75 cm
• Find the middle of the segment and build the perpendicular CD \u003d AB.
• We connect A and C, B and C. Divide the resulting segments into three parts and at these points we carry out perpendicular lines: the upper ones - 1, 5 cm, the lower - 1.2 cm. We carry out a smooth connection.

• We cut out 4 wedge -shaped segments with a suture centimeter allowance. We retreat 3 cm from the middle of the cap and sew the auditory hare organs of our hero. We seal.
• We cut a strip from the fabric, which is the same as the circle of the cap 51+4 in length (it is better not to save in stock, at any time you can cut it)
• The width of the strip should be equal (elastic width +floor cm +cm)*2 +7 cm.
• We divide the strip with a bend and connect with a hat. In the middle we insert the linen gum for a couple of centimeters shorter than the head of the head, and sew the hole.

Creating the basis:

• It is not necessary to sew the basis. You can review the child’s wardrobe and find the right clothing. For example, a white tracksuit made of soft fabric is suitable. You can take costumes of other shades, the hare is not always white, light gray or white with blue inserts is suitable.
• A white turtleneck is ideal, which can be decorated with applique in the form of carrots, sew fur on the sleeves. And now, the base of the costume is ready.
• Or sew a vest with your own hands from crepe-satin. The pattern can be removed in a T -shirt, it should be 2 details of the gear and 1 detail of the back.

• We sew your shoulders. On the armholes we get and sew the slanting base. We connect the sides of the vest.
• We cut the scythe from the fur. The strip is cut at an angle of 45 degrees. The length is equal to the length of the ground area, and the width is 7 cm.
• If there is no such piece of fur so that the box turns out to be whole, it is allowed to make it stitched. Put the inhibitory face to the inside of the vest. Wet, and then add 0.5 cm wide on the typewriter. We unfold the product to you with the front side and bend the fur on the face from the inside.
• We bend inward by 1 cm and mark it, then remove the entire product with an indent by half a centimeter.

• We cut out the pants. We take the fabric as for the vest. Pants will not be tight, so you can make a pattern with any children's sweatpants or old trousers. We attach, carefully lay out on paper and redraw the pattern on paper.
• We cut out of the material 4 identical details. It is important to make increases on the edges of the trouser trousers (cakes) into which the elastic band will be inserted.

It is calculated like this:

• If the edge is processed by an overlock, then 0.7 cm is added to the width of the gum.
• With a double fold: we double the width of the elastic band and add 0.7 cm. On both sides of the parts we leave 0.5-0.7 cm to the seam.

Now:

• We connect the seams on the typewriter with a wide and thick zigzag or overlock. Sew the step seams.
• Fold the middle seam and connect it. Pay attention to the middle seam, you must converge. To do this, it is advisable to sew from the middle.
• We process the upper edge and bottom of the trousers with overlock. Or we turn it up twice and stir, gets a backstage for the elastic band. Be sure to leave a hole for the elastic band.

• From the fur we cut out a circle with a diameter of 10 cm. Using a manual needle along the edge and tighten it, leaving a small hole. We fix the thread, but do not cut off.

• The tail is filled with the filler (synthetic winterizer or holofiber). Sew the tail with a gently hidden seam.
• We cut off the desired rubber band length and draw a pin into the belt and trousers. We sew it and the trousers are ready.

As you can see, it is possible to sew a bunny costume yourself. To do this, you need a little imagination, material and time.
