The verb is an independent part of speech, which is characterized by distinctive grammatical features (we are talking about the form, transition, inclination, time), which are not in other parts of speech. If it is mentioned about the category of the face of the verb, then in this case we are talking about a word, which in the verbs exists in the expressive (present and future time) and in imperative moods.
3 faces of the verb
It is characteristic endings that can tell us which of the three persons uses the verb in a particular sentence.
1 face of the verb
Its task is to indicate that the action is produced or will be performed either by the person who speaks from his own behalf, or together with other persons. With first -person verbs used in a single or plural, the pronouns "I" or "we" are combined.
They should give answers to questions:
- "What am I doing"? or "what will I do"?;
- "What are we doing"? Or “what will we do”?
Example: I (what are I doing?) Read the book; We (what are we doing?) We read books.
- In personal endings, verbs are used in the singular letters: -ho or -yu;
- In multiple: -Em or -im.
Example: I am silent; I will be silent - we are silent; we will be silent.
2 The face of the verb
The task of the second person of the verb is to indicate that some actions produces first -person visas. With such verbs, the pronouns "you" or "you" are used.
Verbs 2 persons answer the questions:

- "What are you doing"? Or "what are you doing"?
The suffix -I- or zero suffix helps to build a proposal with the imperative mood of the verb. Example: you (what do you do?) Look; You (what to do?) Look.
- Imperative inclination with the number of plural implies the use of postfix -those.

3 The face of the verb
The third party of the verb shows the affiliation of the action of what or as mentioned in the proposal. Both the only and multiple number of 3 persons of the verb accompany the pronouns: “He”; "she is"; "it"; "they".
Such verbs answer the questions:
- "He, she, what is it doing"? or "he, she, what will it do"?;
- "What are they doing"? Or “what will they do”?
Example: he (what does?) Bends a bag; They (what are they doing?) carry a bag.
Verbs form 3 faces, such types of endings are characteristic: in the singular —Tat or –it; in multiple - ut; -ut or –at; -Yat.
Example (in the future and present time): he, it does, will do it - they do, they will do.
All of the above can be placed in the table:
In accordance with the algorithm deduced in 3 steps, you can give a definition to which one or another verb belongs from three persons:
- Step one is to determine which of the questions the verb answers (what you are doing, what is doing, what I am doing, etc.).
- Step two is the allocation personal ending of the verb.
- The third step determines the one who is the performer of this action (here they compare with which pronoun the verb is used). And already on the basis of all these studies, the face of the verb is determined.
Consider the steps on the example of the verb “tell”. The verb “tells” answers the question “what will do”? It has an ending "-T." The action is performed by the one in the proposal. Corrections with the pronoun "he" (he will tell). Conclusion: this verb is a third party, it was used in the singular.
