The old large T -shirt.
Pieces of flannel with different patterns for wings.
Green flannel for the tail.
Any filler for jackets or soft toys.

The upper part of the dragon costume is a cape, in the form of a semicircle. Strips of fabrics with a variety of drawings are glued to its base.

The base of the dinosaur’s costume for the boy will be a flanel of any color. Flannel - A sufficiently thin fabric from which the threads can be poured, so fold your fabric in half, and then cut a semicircle out of it.

After that, expand your semicircle and apply glue to the unprocessed edges of the fabric. Glue the edges of the circle with each other, folding it again in half.

Cut a strip of fabric, 6 cm wide, and the length suitable to the width of your cape. Fold it fourfold, and then cut off the semicircles with scissors, which will be scales. There are many such multi -colored stripes.

Now you need to glue all the “dragon scales” to our cloak with glue. At this stage, we glue the yellow tie to it, which will hold the cloak of the dinosaur for the boy at the top.
Apply glue so that only the upper part of the strips is fixed. Then openwork multi -colored scales will be beautifully fluttering in motion.

Now you need to turn the cape with the back of the back to yourself and cut off the extra pieces of fabric.

With sharp scissors, cut the cloak of the dragon strictly in the middle. It will be easier for you to cut layers of the fabric gradually, first the lower, and then the upper ones.

We also need to find yellow teeth that will decorate the tail from above. To make a dinosaur costume for a boy, you will need to take a strip of yellow flanel 15 cm wide. Fold this strip in half so that it becomes narrow. Moving this line with an iron, and then cut off the triangular teeth with scissors.

The tail of the dragon's costume should somehow hold on. We offer to fix it with strips of fabric tied to the waist. Cut two rectangles from green matter, apply glue on them and put it in the beginning, and then four times, as shown in the next photo.

A detail that will become a “scales” at the top of the tail also needs to be glued. Gently apply glue to all the cloves, and then connect them with each other.

Time to collect our dinosaur costume for a boy into a single whole. Combine the main green part and yellow “scales” into a single whole. You need to do this with glue.

After that, check if you have glued the seam well and fill the tail of the dinosaur with a filler for soft toys.
It remains to glue the fabric strips that will be tied on the waist and a circle of green fabric, which will be in the back of the tail of the dinosaur.

Dinosaurian costume from pajamas

Our next dinosaur costume is made of children's pajamas. This is a plain pajamas with a hood and completely closed legs. Such a pajamas from which the child’s children's costume will be obtained can be found in stores.

Pajamas from which dinosaurs were created with their own hands are family. That is, such a thing can be selected in size for any family member. And make, for example, a teenage or adult dinosaur costume.

For a Dinosaur costume with your own hands, you will need:

A captive cap in our example is red.
Large sheets of foamir (30 cm in size by 45 cm). We need 1 white sheet, 2 orange and 1 red sheet.
Ready -made eyes for toys.
Scissors and adhesive gun.

First, we will make the terrible teeth of the dinosaur, which will be located under the visor of the cap. Take a sheet of white foamiran, and separate the rectangle from it with the line, 3-4 cm wide. From this piece of Foamiran we get a number of sharp teeth for our predator.
In the next photo, the author sews two costumes of a dinosaur at once. Therefore, she takes a strip wider and cuts out two rows of teeth at once. If you need only one suit, you can take less material.

Now, with the help of a glue pistol, we attach the teeth to the cap of the cap. Below, turn foamiran with folds so that in the end it repeats the contours of the visor.

It will be necessary to carefully fill with glue all the cracks between the fabric and the white foamiran so that there are no voids. When the teeth are glued, they should look like in the next photo.

Now the time is to glue the eyes. In our example, they are quite large, because we make a dinosaur costume with our own hands. To fix your eyes, use hot glue again.

We also need eyelids from Red Foamiran. The first eyelid, cut out on the size of the eyes. And the second eyelid is cut in the same form as the first.

The expression on the face of the dinosaur in our master class turned out to be severe and formidable. Which is quite suitable for our predator.

Now is the time to take a tail for our children's costume of a dinosaur. On the hood, along the entire spine and on the tail we will have volumetric teeth. How to make them we will tell below.

First you need to make our dinosaur tail. To do this, take a large sheet of thick felt. In our example, it is red, to the color of pajamas.

You must take the felt -tip pen and indicate the point slightly above the coccyx. This will be a place to which our tail will be attached.
After that, attach the felt to the pajamas and put two more points on the felt. They will denote the width of the tail that we want to get.

Celebrate the position and the desired tail width

Fold the felt in half and cut a figure that resembles a triangle with slightly rounded edges in shape.

Now the tail must be glued to the pajamas. Turn the two corners a little, and in this position, fix them with hot glue. After that, glue the entire line above the tail of the dinosaur.

This children's dress is decorated orange teeth. To make them, two sheets of Foamiran are required.

Take two rectangles from orange foamiran, fold them together and cut the teeth. And then glue them along the upper edge. Leave the lower edges not yet sealed, we will attach the teeth to their pajamas.

Tints on our suit will be two types: short and long with a figure base. How to cut it shown in the following photo.

Glue the cloves to the hood, along all the length of the spine and to the tail. If the pajamas remained on the furry tissue of the pajamas from hot glue, then remove them with tape.
