You can sew a white bear costume in different ways. We bring to your attention some of them: use the most convenient option for you.

Method number 1: The easiest

This is a relatively fast and simple way to make a white bear masquerade costume, which every mother can successfully use.

Surely in the wardrobe of the child there will be the necessary basic things, and in your casket for needlework - the necessary tools and threads.

Before starting work, get:

free jacket of any color with a hood and lightning in front (so that it unfastened to the end);
soft white wide, preferably fleece, elastic pants;
white fleece;
white threads, scissors, pins.

Tip: You will need a fleece exactly so much that the entire surface of the jacket with a hood overlap them, do not buy excess, it is better to carefully measure the child’s sweater. You will not need a preliminary pattern, since you just wrap the sweater in a layer of fleece.

Lay the white fabric on the table, and on top of it - a jacket. Circle the contours of the front, back, hood and sleeves, not forgetting about allowances to the seams. Cut all these details and sew them on the top of the sweater that you took by the base.
The hood is an important detail that will need to pay the most serious attention, since a bear’s head will be made from it.
Take the same white fleece and cut off such circles from it that they are about 15 cm in diameter (4 pcs will need them).
Fold them 2 pcs. facing each other and build each other in such a way that 2 cm of the gap remains - then you will turn out the future bear ears through it. Sweat a dense synthetic winterizer, cotton wool or just unnecessary fabric scraps.
Having done this operation, sew them on top of the hood (the hole left for stuffing with other material should be below).
Make a bear nose in the same way, only for it you will need to take 2*6 cm in a diameter of a circle made of black fabric. After you sew and turn them, lay a synthetic winterizer in the middle and sew your nose to the hood.

Next, take care of the eyes of the beast: embroider them using dark threads, glue the purchased with an adhesive gun or simply draw them with a black marker.
Do not forget about mittens that will become bear paws. Sewing them is quite simple: on the paper, circle the palm of your future “Bear” with a pencil. When cutting out the pattern, give an approximately centimeter allowance so that the handle is free inside the mittens.
Cut 4 parts from the fleece, sew them in pairs and turn them on the front side. The inside of the mittens can be decorated with "pillows" of animal paws. To do this, use the same patterns, only in a reduced version: cut them from black fabric and nash on mittens in the form of an application.

Bend the upper edges of the mittens inside and stitch, but not to the very end, so that you can insert an elastic band there - so they will not fall off children's pens.

Method number 2: with pants and jacket

If work after a sewing machine is a familiar business for you, and dense and heavy fabrics are easily succumbing to your hands, then in this case you can make a masquerade costume of a white bear yourself - from beginning to end.
It is impossible to come up with a single pattern for the costume of a white bear, since there are whole and separate options, there may also be differences in details, so you need to decide which one will be most convenient for you.
But in general, the image of the bear consists of some of the main components: a free top and bottom, soft slippers, mittens, round ears (they can be attached to a hat or rim).

When sewing the bottom, take into account that the trousers should be straight and wide, they are often connected with white slippers.

When creating a whole suit in the lateral seam (in no case do this on the stomach) insert the fastener, it is desirable that it be secret.

If you sew trousers and a jacket, then in the seam that is located in the area of \u200b\u200bthe hip bones, insert a whale mustache (you can use some other rigid frame for a corset). After drying, sew and insert a lining of soft natural material inside so that your child is comfortable in such a peculiar suit.
In the lateral seam, insert a zipper so that the New Year's outfit can be easily put on a child and remove from him.
Do not connect your head with the body, just process the edges where there used to be a seam so that the fabric does not “pour”.
And to the edge of the toy head, add a thin elastic band so that it in the form of a hat tightly covers the baby's head.

If you want your “teddy bear” to be well -fed, make two mugs from the fleece, sew them, swap them with a synthetic winterizer and sew on top of the tummy using hidden seams.
