If you decide to organize your own business, for example, a company to provide training for employees of a certain sector, then this will already be a strategy - to make money for the sale of services. Regarding this strategic goal, tactical actions will be a set of students, hiring coaches and experts, writing and implementing curricula.

  • If you want to attract customers by promoting business through social networks, then this will also be a tactical solution for business development.
  • But in relation to the advertising of your activity, this will already be a strategy.
  • By creating a business account on a social network, you can attract customers with various methods: through indexation in search engines, paid advertising on various sites, wrapping subscribers and the like.
  • It is all these methods that will be the tactics of the promotion of the business group.
  • That is, the concepts of tactics and strategies in separate examples resemble a chain reaction, where one link pulls another, then smoothly flowing into the next, more extensive.
  • Sometimes, when thinking about any startup, they first create a basic strategy-on its basis the rest, highly specialized strategies are built on its basis.
  • That is, the basis for the basic strategy will be the very decision on the start of business. And at first it is possible to evaluate its effectiveness only by marketing formulas, and over time - by real work results.
  • After all, if any error crept back even when formulating the basic strategy, then any subsequent changes and improvement of auxiliary strategies and one hundred percent implementation of all types of tactics may not bring any positive shifts.

A good example: This is a fish floating in the aquarium. You can be completely sure that it will never and under no circumstances fall into the sea, that is, such a strategic goal of a fish cannot be achieved, no matter what tactics it adheres to. But if the fish is released into a brook, then (purely theoretically) she will be able to get into the sea, choosing the right tactics for this purpose.

That is, the desired result in any business can only be obtained with the right choice of a viable strategy and the selection of such tactics with which success will be achieved.
