How to weave a basket:

Calm the newspaper sheet
Take a skewer and lay it to the edge of the newspaper sheet.
Wrap the newspaper sheet and start twisting, tightly turning the sheet.
Newspaper paper should be greased with glue so that it is folded and fixed.
If you use PVA, let the twisted tubes dry a little.
Cut the base for the basket, square: large or small.
Glue the tubes to base and fix the clothespins, let it dry completely.
Remove the clothespins and glue the second square (exactly the same), press and fix it. Let it dry.
Put the shape on top of the bottom and start weaving, tying each vertical tube of horizontal.
Weaving looks very whole, because you should not weave several tubes. Each time you glue several tubes in one long strip, which you work.

Important: weaving is similar in the previous lesson, but to create such a basket you should not use a cardboard for the bottom, but a round shape (dish or deep plate), which you will tie.

In order to create a small basket with a handle, you will need about 90-100 tubes that should be twisted in advance. Let the tubes dry and only then start work:

Weave 8 tubes together with a double cross
Start circular tagging to make the basis
Put the base-form base on top of a small round bottom.
Tie it, lengthening the tubes and creating patterns (for this you should use weaving schemes).
In order for the product to be neat and even, the tubes should be fixed vertically, pinching the clothespins to the edge of the shape.
