Simple tricks with paper for beginners: description, secrets
Focus 1. Phenix paper
To show this trick, you will need a piece of paper and you need to cut off a strip of 40 cm long from it. The magician stands facing the audience and folds the paper in half, and then tears it. Then the same thing is done, with half and so on, until small squares are in their hands. It would seem that the strip is broken, but the illusionist triggers in his hands and turning them around, it turns out that a whole sheet of paper is in his hand.
What's the secret?
Before starting the performance, the props is prepared. These are three strips of 40 cm in length and 3 cm in width. One of the stripes bends into the accordion to get a square, and then tightly pressed. After that, one end of the accordion glues with a whole strip. That's all, the preparation is over,
Before starting a focus, a paper assembly is placed on a table among other items. Of course, the one that is compressed should not be visible to the audience. When you show the focus, take another sheet of paper and cut a whole strip. When she lies on the table, it is imperceptibly that you need to take it not, but the cooked strip. The accordion should refuse between the index and thumb. So the audience will not see her.
When you tear the paper, put the pieces on each other so that in the end you get a square. At the very end, it turns out that the audience will see pieces, and the accordion will remain turned to you. When the desired square is in the hands, you will need to expand the accordion to the audience and carefully straighten the paper. A few seconds after the show, crumple pieces and throw it onto the table, or better into the bucket. Show the audience that you have no extra pieces of paper in your hands.
Remember that when you unfold the accordion, then hold the pieces of torn with a carefully thumb and forefinger. If you do not, then part of the paper can slip and the entire focus will be disclosed.
Focus 2. Magic envelope
Paper tricks are quite diverse and can easily be used additional flowers, elastic bands, balls and so on. This focus proves this fact.
The magician shows the audience a simple envelope and puts a map in it. After closing the envelope, the needle with a thread is taken into the hands and the location of the map is sewn. Plus, the envelope is pierced with a pencil. But, when the card also gets an envelope, it turns out to be completely intact, which surprises the audience.
The secret of this focus is extremely simple and consists in good preparation of the props. Before the audience arrives, cut the opening on one side of the envelope. Put the card so that the incision is not visible to anyone. When you show the viewers an envelope, it should be a slot down. At the same time, you need to squeeze the edges of the envelope so that the card slips into the slot and ends up in your palm.
After that, we do all the actions with a thread and a pencil. After all the manipulations, return the card back. This is done by a slight pushing the envelope to the palm of the hand and you can show the audience that the card remained intact.
It is very important before showing the focus to others, to work out the output of the card from the envelope and the investment back. This stage is the most difficult and with one awkward movement the map can fall out and ruin the entire focus.
Focus 3. The strength of thought and fire
This focus is more complicated than the previous ones and therefore should first master them, and then move on to this. You will need a piece of paper, a candle and sympathetic ink. The latter are prepared in a special way, which we will talk about later.
The magician shows the audience clean paper and begins to say that he is able to write a phrase only by the power of thought. To do this, he takes a candle and leads it over the paper, while you need to whisper the words incomprehensible to others. After some time, the audience will be surprised that some words really appear on paper.
In fact, this trick is considered simple, but it contains the basis of chemistry. To prepare a trick, you must first make special ink. This will need:
- Diluted milk
- Lemon, apple and trouser juice
Their peculiarity lies in the fact that they disappear on paper, but appear again when you heat them. So now it's you. Write something on paper with these ink and show the audience the power of your thoughts.
As you could notice, it is not at all difficult to make paper tricks. You easily surprise each of your guest if you have an envelope and a piece of paper at home.
