Green tomatoes in tomato juice for the winter: Classic recipe
If you like to experiment and surprise guests with unusual culinary masterpieces, then take this recipe. We offer a slightly island taste of green tomatoes, but you can exclude spicy pepper or replace it with sweet Bulgarian vegetable.
Would need:
- green tomatoes - 2 kg
- tomato juice - 1 liter
- salt - 1 tbsp. Without a hill
- sugar - 1 tbsp. With a hill
- gorky pepper - 2 pcs.
- garlic-4-6 cloves
- vinegar - 4 tbsp.
- Choose elastic tomatoes, preferably small in size. They must be washed and cut into four parts.
- Pour tomato juice and pour tomatoes into it. Grind sharp pepper with arbitrary pieces with seeds. Pass the garlic through the press. Add everything to the pan and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Throw spices and simmer over low heat for another 10 minutes.
- Now pour vinegar and leave on the stove for another 6-8 minutes.
- After laying out the contents in sterile jars. Try to evenly distribute the amount of tomato and juice evenly.
- Roll, turn upside down, insulate and leave to cool.
