Very delicate and beautiful, pink color is one of the popular shades of red. Unfortunately, on sale, separately or in sets of colors, it is not always present. So what to do if you need pink, but it is not at hand?
Pink color when mixing paints
As we have already said, the pink color is close to red, being its shade. Therefore, taking the red as a basis, you can relatively easily and quickly make the desired shade yourself.
- We take the colors that are going to draw or paint - acrylic, oil, in a word, which will be used. From a huge number of shades of red, we choose the desired red, given that the alizarin red, named after the fact that it is like organic dye alizarin, or, for example, a shade of red hinacridon will also give completely different shades of pink.
- The most pure, so to speak, classic, will come from scarlet, if you take brick red-our pink will be more similar to Persikov. And the same Alizarin will add notes of blue or purple, and then we will come closer to the color of fuchsia.
- So, we decided what kind of shade we need. Now proceed to mixing. We take red paint (quite a bit, because we are at the stage of the experiment). We drip to the surface to become pink. And now we take white and we begin to add one drop to our red one, mixing with a brush.
- At first, the less white, the darker the pink, but adding a drop by a drop and mixing, you will see that the mixture will become more and more light. Of course, the darker the red we selected, the more we need white paint.
- Well, the pink color is obtained. And yet you want a little other. Try to experiment with the addition of other colors (but also a little). Add yellowness to bring the final color closer to orange-pink or peach tones. And if you need fuchsia-mix in the white-red composition of purple or blue notes.
- Watercolor differs from oil and the process of obtaining new paint also has its own characteristics. To begin with, moisten the brush, pressing it to the base of the glass, thus fluffing the hairs. Having shook off the excess of water, on the palette, place the initial colors - white and red. If you draw with paints packaged in tubes, just squeeze the amount you need.
- Pour water into one of the palette cells and add a small amount of red paint there. Do this until you get the color of the color you need. Now the turn is for white. Pull the brush with white paint in red as many times as it will be needed so that the resulting pink satisfies you.
- As in the case of oil or acrylic paints, you can also get other shades of pink, adding yellow, blue or purple paints in the above way.
Food dyes in pink color
If you buy red food dyes not a problem, then the whites have not yet created (and why?). Therefore, anything suitable color can act as a white component of our future pink - from glue and air conditioner to sugar glaze.
- Take a container of such a volume in which you need pink paint and pour or pour your white mass there.
- Now we proceed to work with red, remembering that red food dyes are usually very concentrated, so add it very carefully, literally by a droplet. And remember: the more red, the darker the pink.
- Thus, you can experiment with the preparation of dishes by making, for example, the same sugar glaze is not traditionally white, but pink. It is better to use a wooden spoon, stirring very carefully and carefully, making sure that the color is distributed evenly. Do not rush, it is better to add a little red later than to initially get a darker shade than you would like.
- Natural food dye of pink color can be obtained from beets, but in this case you can hardly achieve the desired color exactly.
It is better to add white to red. You need to start preparing the mixture in small quantities, gradually increasing volumes. And a short result: our pink is red and white, combined in various proportions to obtain the desired shade.
